Overview

The Junior Sales Representative will support and drive profitable membership growth in the self-funded market, collaborating with local market teams to target clients who prefer a TPA value proposition.

In Short

  • Support Meritain sales efforts with customized self-funded solutions.
  • Work through external brokers to promote the Meritain brand.
  • Establish partnerships with Aetna sales teams to maximize distribution.
  • Identify products and strategies to solve TPA client challenges.
  • Manage producer relations based on market segment.
  • Develop strong relationships with key clients to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate sales materials and presentations for constituents.
  • Participate in constituent meetings and presentations.
  • Maintain expertise on products and market trends.
  • Travel required 30% within market.

Requirements

  • Life & Health Insurance license or must obtain within 90 days.
  • Sales and/or Account Management experience required.
  • Prior Health Insurance experience (employee benefits) needed.
  • High level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Active Health & Life License is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
