Overview

The Event Technology Project Manager will lead and consult on medium to large scale in-person and/or digital events, managing the registration and digital platforms to create effective event experiences.

In Short

  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant role, preferably in corporate events.
  • Proven experience in registration management from discovery to execution.
  • Preferred experience with event management tools such as Rainfocus, Swoogo, Stova, Cvent.
  • Client-facing role working with Fortune 100 & 500 corporate clientele.
  • Manage digital experiences of events, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
  • Oversee vendors and manage attendee registration processes.
  • Lead and support planning and execution of attendee-facing technology projects.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in digital platforms and tools.
  • Supervise project team members and temporary onsite staff.
  • Deliver projects within time and budgetary requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with clients and team members.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to self-direct learning.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
  • Mathematical skills for budget management and reporting.
  • Reasoning skills to solve practical problems in dynamic environments.
