Senior Group Accountant - Remote

In Short

• Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB.
• Proactive involvement in optimizing accounting standards and processes.
• Key contact for auditors and social security auditors.
• Responsible for timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Handling daily accounting tasks.
• Conducting intercompany reconciliations and payments.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in group accounting.
• Completed studies in finance or a comparable field; alternatively, training in a commercial area or further education as a certified accountant.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and proven experience in consolidation.
• Excellent knowledge of tax, commercial, and VAT law.
• Extensive practical experience with DATEV and ideally with LucaNet.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and good to very good English skills.
