Contracts Analyst - Federal - Remote

Overview

This position will be fully remote and can be hired anywhere in the continental U.S. Optiv + ClearShark is looking for a Contract Specialist – Federal to play a key role in supporting our federal contracting and procurement activities.

In Short

• Manage the entire contract lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Review, process, and track customer contracts and vendor agreements.
• Collaborate with sales and purchasing teams to verify contract terms.
• Maintain organized records of contracts and ensure audit readiness.
• Monitor and manage software subscription renewals and maintenance contracts.
• Act as a liaison between sales, legal, and finance departments.
• Assist with reporting on contract metrics and ensure timely fee payments.
• Coordinate with Partner/Alliance Team for contract vehicle management.
• Ensure accuracy of contract information on public facing websites.
• Assist Client Directors and Inside Sales Representatives with contracts questions.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in contract administration or IT procurement.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce is preferred.
• Exceptional accuracy in managing high-volume data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
