Overview

The Client Operations Specialist is a sales support role assisting field Client Managers with the development and closing of new business. This position can be hired remotely anywhere within the U.S.

In Short

  • Assist Client Managers with sales quotations and order processing.
  • Provide outstanding client service via phone and email.
  • Generate accurate sales quotes using SalesForce.com.
  • Support the Account Manager's gross margin objectives.
  • Prepare and submit accurate orders to purchasing.
  • Act as liaison between Client Manager and operations.
  • Respond to client inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Maintain product and industry knowledge.
  • Perform historical pricing analysis for Client Managers.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2+ years in a Business-to-Business Sales/Client Services role.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Prior experience with CRM software required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to solve practical problems in various situations.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and partners.
  • Experience in the technical or information technologies industry preferred.
  • Ability to travel to client sites when required.
