Manager, Security Operations - Remote

Overview

The Manager of Operations Managed Detection and Response is responsible for ensuring early and accurate detection, response, and containment for threats directed against our clients. This role involves deep security knowledge and management skills, focusing on mentoring and developing staff, as well as continuous improvement of security operations.

In Short

• Lead and manage the Security Operations Center.
• Ensure quality security alert triage and analysis.
• Develop and mentor staff through open communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 10+ years of professional IT and Information Security experience.
• 5+ years in cyber operations centers.
• 3+ years in managed services.
• Proven decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Deep understanding of SIEM and Endpoint solutions.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Experience with ticketing and knowledge management systems.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification preferred.
• CISSP or other security/networking certifications preferred.
