Data Entry Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and accurate Data Entry Specialist to support our team with financial and census data entry. The ideal candidate should have a strong aptitude for numbers, high accuracy, and the ability to review, log, and verify financial transactions.

In Short

• Review and log financial statements, identifying key details such as date, amount, and transaction type.
• Analyze invoice/statement summaries to track money flow.
• Ensure total amounts match, verifying fees and discrepancies.
• Enter and maintain census data with a focus on precision.
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity while handling large volumes of numerical information.
• Assist in verifying and reconciling data to ensure consistency and correctness.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

• High attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately.
• Previous experience in data entry or a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet applications (Excel, Google Sheets) is a plus.
• Good communication skills for reporting discrepancies and clarifications.
• Must be able to commit to flexible working hours, except during the training period.
