Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant & Customer Support Specialist to join our team on a full-time, fully remote basis. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, and maintain compliance with US accounting standards while working during US business hours.

In Short

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries.
  • Perform accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Generate financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies.
  • Support payroll processing and expense tracking.
  • Assist with tax preparation and coordination with external accountants/auditors.
  • Identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2 to 5+ years of accounting experience (preferably in a US-based company or clients).
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
