Overview

The ABA Patient Intake Coordinator supports families at the beginning of their ABA therapy journey by coordinating intake processes and ensuring families understand the necessary steps for receiving services.

In Short

  • Handle inbound patient intake requests for ABA services
  • Collect, verify, and organize intake forms and referrals
  • Communicate clearly with families regarding intake status and next steps
  • Use Spanish when assisting Spanish-speaking families
  • Enter and maintain accurate patient data in internal systems
  • Flag missing or incorrect information that may delay services
  • Coordinate with scheduling and care teams for smooth handoff
  • Follow intake SOPs and maintain data accuracy standards

Requirements

  • Prior experience in ABA, autism therapy, or behavioral health intake
  • Experience communicating with families in healthcare settings
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Professional phone presence with empathy and clarity
  • Spanish-speaking ability (preferred)
  • Organized, dependable, and process-oriented
