Regional Director, Finance (Latin America) - Remote

Overview

The Regional Director, Finance requires an individual with key skillsets and expertise in finance, procurement, compliance, and operations to strategically support several countries within the LAC region to implement Operation Smile programs effectively and efficiently.

In Short

• Oversee financial planning and budgeting for multiple countries.
• Conduct cash flow analyses and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Support risk management and audit activities.
• Drive effective procurement and contracting.
• Prepare comprehensive budgets aligned with strategic priorities.
• Provide mentorship and training to finance teams.
• Monitor programmatic activity implementation.
• Develop internal and external financial reporting workplan.
• Collaborate on strategic initiatives and special projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance or Accounting required; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 9+ years industry experience.
• Fluent in English and any other language(s) within the region.
• Strong knowledge of financial software and cost analysis.
• Proficient in QuickBooks.
• Experience with USG/USAID or large international donors preferred.
• International Nonprofit experience is highly desirable.
• Advanced computer skills, especially in MS Office (Excel).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel within the region or globally as necessary.
