Overview

As a Senior Accountant at OpenZeppelin, you will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations in the cryptocurrency industry.

In Short

• Oversee end-to-end financial activities including accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Oversee tax compliance and audit readiness.
• Develop accounting policies for FIAT and cryptocurrency transactions.
• Implement systems to support company growth in the crypto industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with 2+ years in blockchain/web3.
• Knowledge of US and UK GAAP and tax regulations.
• Experience with financial reporting and audit processes.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in financial planning and budgeting.
• Fluent in English.
