Corporate Security Operations Manager, APAC - Remote

Overview

The Corporate Security team is responsible for the security and protection of all OpenAI employees and executives. We are committed to creating and maintaining a secure environment that allows our team members to focus on their work without fear of harm or disruption.

In Short

• Set strategic and operational direction for physical security programs across OpenAI’s APAC offices.
• Translate intelligence methodologies into corporate risk mitigation strategies.
• Create and maintain access control policies and physical security standards.
• Lead emergency preparedness and response programs.
• Consult on physical security planning for new office builds and expansions.
• Manage security initiatives in partnership with Security and Real Estate teams.
• Implement solutions to address employee security concerns.
• Lead and mentor CorpSec team members.
• Understand cultural security needs in APAC offices.
• Assess the threat landscape in APAC.

Requirements

• 15–20 years of corporate security and/or law enforcement experience.
• Proven experience leading physical security programs.
• Experience advising senior and executive leadership.
• Strong knowledge of access control and workplace safety standards.
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, and contracts.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity.
• Familiarity with emergency notification systems and travel risk intelligence platforms.
• A strong ethical foundation and commitment to OpenAI’s mission.
