Child Safety Enforcement Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Child Safety team is responsible for detection, review, and enforcement of OpenAI’s Child Safety product policies, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations.

In Short

• Conduct detailed reviews of user-generated content for violations of child safety policies.
• Investigate high-risk user behavior escalations and determine enforcement actions.
• Identify content requiring mandatory reporting and draft reports for NCMEC.
• Use internal tools to triage and review content efficiently.
• Partner with legal, policy, product, and engineering teams to improve safety policies.
• Experience in child safety at a large tech company is preferred.
• Understanding of Trust & Safety topics and concepts.
• Knowledge of legal obligations for reporting to NCMEC.
• Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment.
• Software, statistics, or ML experience and SQL skills are a plus.

Requirements

• T&S experience in the child safety space.
• Operations experience with understanding of Trust & Safety topics.
• Knowledge of legal obligations and reporting flows.
• Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
• Software/stats/ML experience is beneficial.
