System Administrator 2 - Remote

Overview

The program is seeking a skilled Linux based System Administrator (SA-2) to support a small (10 person) development team with the management and sustainment of a United States Intelligence community (USIC) mission capability. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with the development team, capabilities providers, and mission customers to migrate existing applications and services off legacy hardware and onto enterprise compute frameworks.

• System Administrator (SA-2) with experience in design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems.
• Management of virtual and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with SW development team to deploy, test, monitor, and operate applications.
• Conduct patching and configuration changes with security engineers.
• Proven knowledge of Enterprise RedHat Linux, IT System Operations, Kubernetes, and containerization.
• Knowledge of Sun Sparc & Solaris, and Microsoft Windows applications is a plus.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Experience in system administration for USIC customers.
• Ability to collaborate with development teams and security engineers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivated.
