FP&A Analyst for a US HVAC Company - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Analyst to join our growing team and support our financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts. This role will report directly to the CFO and will play a critical part in managing and enhancing our financial models, analyzing performance, and supporting strategic decisions across the business.

• Report directly to the CFO and collaborate with leadership on financial initiatives.
• Prepare the annual budget in Excel, ensuring accuracy.
• Align the finalized budget with NetSuite for data integrity.
• Lead monthly forecast updates, integrating actual results.
• Maintain a rolling 12-month budget model.
• Build and enhance a 3-year financial model with growth scenarios.
• Analyze key performance metrics and deliver actionable insights.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to gather financial data.
• Ensure timely reporting and analysis for stakeholders.
• Support ad hoc analysis and decision-making tools.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance.
• Exceptional Excel skills, including advanced formulas and model building.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Proven experience in creating complex financial models.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in HVAC or construction industries is a plus.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
