FP&A Analyst - Remote

Overview

The FP&A team partners with executive team members across the company to provide timely, fact-based, data-driven decision support to help drive critical decisions. The team drives annual planning, owns the operating plan and long-term financial model, internal financial reporting, and financial and analytical tools to make GitLab predictable.

In Short

• Build, maintain and improve financial models for planning and forecasting.
• Participate in annual and long-term planning processes.
• Run small projects to improve data-driven insights.
• Communicate effectively with FP&A management and directors.
• Execute tasks with moderate supervision.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in FP&A or similar finance role.
• BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field.
• Ability to navigate through financial statements.
• Experience in Google Sheets for financial modeling.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting financial data.
• Experience with financial systems like NetSuite is a plus.
