Revenue Accountant - Remote

Overview

OnePay is seeking a technically strong and detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team, focusing on accurate revenue recognition and scalable accounting processes.

• Ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Perform data reconciliations between financial systems and payment processors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable accounting processes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports through month-end close.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes.
• Utilize data tools to extract, analyze, and reconcile data.
• Prepare documentation for audits and ensure compliance with standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 2+ years experience in Big 4 public accounting or similar.
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, particularly ASC 606.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems.
• Understanding of fintech products and payment processing.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
