Proposal Technical Solutions Architect - Remote

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and versatile professional for the role of Proposal Technical Solutions Architect. This position bridges the gap between technical solutions and persuasive communication to develop clear, compelling, and compliant proposals. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of federal contracting, design innovative technical solutions, and articulate these solutions effectively within proposal documents. The role reports to the Strategic Capture & Proposal team and offers opportunities for remote or flexible hybrid work environments.

In Short

• Lead the design and development of technical solutions responding to RFP/RFQ requirements.
• Collaborate with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to document innovative solutions.
• Serve as the technical lead during proposal efforts.
• Conduct technical risk assessments and devise mitigation strategies.
• Write, edit, and format technical volumes of proposals.
• Create content communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop Basis of Estimate (BOE) and staffing models based on PWS/SOW.
• Participate in proposal strategy sessions.
• Work closely with business development and proposal managers.
• Stay informed of industry best practices in proposal writing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, communications, business, or English language preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience as a solutions architect or technical lead proposal writer.
• Knowledge in cybersecurity, cloud solutions, data analytics, and software development.
• Familiarity with business development lifecycle and Shipley processes.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Critical thinking and project management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work extended hours/weekends when necessary.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
