Director, Commercial Counsel - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and highly motivated attorney to join Omada's Legal team as our new Director, Commercial Counsel. This role will manage a variety of complex commercial contracts across our rapidly growing digital health organization.

In Short

• Serve as a primary legal contact for the commercial business unit.
• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial contracts.
• Inform contracting strategy to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Provide expert guidance on contract-related issues.

• Maintain deal trackers and manage multiple projects.
• Provide support for procurement and vendor contracting efforts.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Extensive background in drafting various agreements.
• Deep understanding of legal concerns in commercial transactions.
• Understanding of federal and state privacy laws.
• Superior negotiation skills.
• Ability to assess risk and provide practical legal advice.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing transactions.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
