Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

Olo is a leading SaaS platform accelerating digital transformation in the restaurant industry, by helping customers deliver more personalized and profitable guest experiences. The Staff Accountant will assist in the accounting function’s goal to scale with the company’s growth.

In Short

• Reconcile monthly bank activity to accounting ledger and bank statements
• Record month-end journal entries
• Drive efficiency and automation of various month-end processes
• Investigate differences between processed funds and cash received
• Analyze transactions to determine appropriate accounting treatment
• Support management on ad-hoc analysis and projects
• Back up support for Accounts Payable team
• Work with external firms for annual audit and tax requests

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in a SaaS environment
• Excellent MS Excel skills
• Familiarity with Intacct and Coupa is a plus
• Active CPA or CPA eligible strongly preferred
