Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

Builders Capital is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our growing Accounting team. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of our accounts payable process. Collaborating with team members, vendors, and management, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization while providing exceptional support to internal and external stakeholders.

In Short

• Manage daily transaction processing, including loan receivables and general ledger entries.
• Track and reconcile cash transactions.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations and assigned balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Support month-end close by reviewing journal entries.
• Review and analyze assigned general ledger accounts for accuracy, addressing discrepancies as needed.
• Assist with regular monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes.
• Contribute to special projects and analytical tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience with accounts payable processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
