The Director of Data Engineering will lead a high-impact data engineering team to build scalable data pipelines and optimize the data stack, focusing on improving healthcare outcomes.

In Short

Lead a small data engineering team to develop scalable data solutions.

Design and maintain data pipelines using AWS services.

Help build ML/AI architecture and predictive models.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in data engineering.
3+ years of leading data engineering teams.
Expertise in AWS services and modern ELT architecture.
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience with healthcare or payor data.
Knowledge of modern database design and data technologies.
Comfortable in a dynamic, startup environment.
Experience with business intelligence/reporting tools.
Ability to lead technical projects and teams.
Familiarity with ML/LLMs/AI is preferred.
