Data & Insights Analyst (Contract) - Remote

Overview

The Data & Insights Analyst will provide accurate, timely and relevant business analytics by creating reports, dashboards and presentations on analysis and insights to meet operational needs and recommend improvements.

In Short

• Develop an expert understanding of OFX’s business and processes.
• Work with Risk and Compliance Teams to build insights and reports.
• Understand and communicate the wider Data & Analytics Strategy.
• Contribute to the evolution of the Data & Analytics Strategy.
• Ensure effective management of data points and the data model.
• Drive the maturity of the data model and associated practices.
• Challenge business stakeholders for valued outcomes.
• Define and set effective metrics for success.
• Delegate and train individuals across the business.
• Manage technology risks and costs effectively.

Requirements

• 2 - 5 years’ experience presenting data attributes to non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge in SQL and ideally using Google Cloud Platform.
• Extensive experience with R or Python programming languages.
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exposure or experience with ML development.
• Preferably some knowledge on Risk and Compliance data.
