Octopus Energy is looking for a Credit Lead to ensure solid and efficient financial management as we grow, focusing on credit portfolio monitoring and debt recovery.

In Short

• Monitor client portfolio delinquency continuously, identifying risks and trends.
• Design and implement strategies for debt recovery, minimizing losses.
• Manage relationships with third-party companies involved in debt recovery.
• Act as a point of escalation for complaints.
• Analyze data and prepare periodic reports on credit portfolio evolution.
• Negotiate payment plans and solutions with clients.

Requirements

• Solid experience (at least 5 years) in credit management and debt recovery.
• Proven experience in managing external recovery companies.
• Analytical, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
• Advanced negotiation and communication skills.
• Data analysis competency.
• Excellent communication skills for difficult conversations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in financial management tools and advanced Excel.
• English proficiency is a plus.
