Credit Underwriter - Remote

Overview

We’re continuing to build our in-house underwriting team at Octopus Electric Vehicles, focusing on expanding our underwriting capability for B2B credit risk and consumer credit.

In Short

• Manage the day-to-day credit and underwriting process
• Review and manage credit escalations and referrals
• Own underwriting decisions for clients not captured by our auto-underwriting process
• Support in development of consumer scorecards and underwriting policy
• Hands-on processing and evaluating credit applications
• Interpret credit application information and KPIs
• Experience in a hands-on credit assessment & underwriting role
• Knowledge of credit policies and automated credit decisioning platforms
• Experience in vehicle leasing

• Willingness to get hands on with processing and evaluating credit applications
• Ability to interpret credit application information
• Experience in a hands-on credit assessment & underwriting role
• Knowledge of credit policies
• Familiarity with automated credit decisioning platforms (e.g. Lending Metrics)
• Experience in vehicle leasing
