Overview

The Customer Support Specialist II will play a vital role in supporting customer-related processes and serve as a technical liaison between Engineering and clients.

In Short

  • Work on customer-facing projects.
  • Support Ocient products in various environments including Cloud, On-Premises, GCP, and AWS.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for customer issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for issue and feature validation.
  • Triage customer tickets and manage high volume ticket handling.
  • Document root cause analysis.
  • Gain expertise in Ocient solutions.
  • Report to leadership and external teams.
  • Assist Level I Customer Support Engineers with complex problem resolution.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in computer science or related field.
  • 5 to 6 years of experience in customer support or similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Database Administration in a Linux/Unix environment.
  • Strong understanding of system administration.
  • Experience with query analysis and optimization.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and log analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of hardware and Linux kernel.
  • Linux OS proficiency.
  • Network troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Python.
