Overview

The OCHIN Billing Services Operations Manager is a leader responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations of a team within OCHIN Billing Services, managing performance and development while providing superior billing services to clients.

In Short

  • Manage workflows in alignment with departmental goals.
  • Execute individual and team goals in alignment with strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver performance coaching and reviews for direct reports.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, escalating to leadership when necessary.
  • Analyze revenue cycles for billing clients and implement solutions.
  • Establish relationships with customers for efficient issue resolution.
  • Ensure accurate processing of bills following payer requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Complete projects independently with limited supervision.
  • Support organizational mission and goals as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field.
  • Minimum of four years in supervisory or leadership roles.
  • Five to seven years of experience in Medical Billing.
  • Strong communication skills with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Epic practice management system preferred.
