Clinical Informaticist - Remote

Overview

The Clinical Informaticist at OCHIN is a clinician responsible for providing clinical consultation on the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of clinical and health IT systems, including Electronic Health Records (EHRs), Telehealth, Mobile Health, and other HIT systems. This role will support OCHIN member clinics and clinicians and work on priority innovation projects.

• Collaborate with clinical leadership team on strategy and operations.

• Working knowledge of nursing and provider workflows required.
• Travel required up to 20-25% for on-site support.
• Participate in member engagement and provide mentorship.
• Contribute to Clinical Decision Support (CDS) development.
• Strong communication skills are necessary.
• Support clinical team in measuring workforce satisfaction.
• Knowledge of health informatics trends is essential.

Requirements

• Master’s or equivalent experience in clinical informatics.
• Clinical degree and licensure (NP, PA, RN) preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in Acute Care.
• Epic experience required.
• Knowledge of clinical innovation and quality improvement desired.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Availability for travel (20-25%).
• Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
