Overview

The Benefits Analyst will assist in the implementation and administration of benefit programs for the healthcare system, supporting the organization in achieving competitive plan offerings and enhancing employee recruitment and retention.

In Short

  • Assist in the administration of health and welfare plans.
  • Provide support for employee inquiries regarding benefits.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on benefits eligibility and policies.
  • Support the annual enrollment process and provide clear communication.
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve benefit inquiries.
  • Conduct audits and prepare reports on benefits data.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Conduct training sessions for new hires on benefits.
  • Keep abreast of legislative changes affecting benefits.
  • Maintain confidentiality and manage competing priorities effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in benefits administration.
  • Experience with HR information systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask.
  • Knowledge of data management systems.
  • Preferred certifications: CEBS, PHR, SHRM-CP.
