Research Scientist in Hair Biology - Remote

Overview

Nutrafol is seeking a scientific expert in hair/skin biology to help us maintain our competitive edge as innovators in hair wellness. This role will be part of the R&D Innovation team and will design/lead preclinical hair biology research programs between our company and numerous research partners.

In Short

• Build and lead research & innovation projects in hair biology.
• Coordinate with labs/external partners for analytical testing.
• Lead experimental design, work plans, data analysis, and reporting.
• Prepare presentations, scientific posters, and manuscripts.
• Manage timelines and ensure project deadlines are met.
• Communicate with internal and external partners on project progress.
• Maintain records and databases for project documentation.
• Track research techniques and methodologies.
• Manage contracts, NDAs, and project documentation.
• Participate in meetings to evaluate data and methodologies.

Requirements

• PhD preferred; Bachelor’s or Master’s in Biology or related field.
• 3-6 years of post-graduate research experience.
• Publication/patent track record.
• Experience with in vitro and ex vivo research.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and project management experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to learn new skills quickly.
• Open innovation experience a plus.
