Controllership Senior Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Controllership Analyst who will run the operational processes related to the accounting closing and the regulatory reporting for the team, maintaining internal control improvements and process automations to ensure practices are in place to achieve the highest standards in the preparation of it.

In Short

• Run operational processes related to accounting closing and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain internal control improvements and process automations.
• Record journals in the accounting ERP system.
• Analyze financial information from Nu Colombia's products.
• Coordinate demands within internal and external auditors.
• Prepare accounting journals and monthly reports.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with Engineers and Product Managers.
• Produce and maintain documentation of product accounting.
• Work in a diverse team focused on technological innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 4+ years of experience in financial institutions.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge including CUIF and IFRS.
• Experience with regulatory reports for Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia.
• Solid analytical background and data-driven mindset.
• Advanced English level.
• Advanced use of Excel and Google Suite.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
• Ability to tackle complex problems.
