In Short

• Join NPR’s Podcast Strategy and Digital Platforms teams as an intern.
• Help shape how audiences discover and engage with NPR’s content.
• Curate content for the NPR app and produce original audio.
• Use data to test strategies for audience growth.
• Assist with optimizing and measuring the success of NPR podcasts.
• Conduct data analysis of audio content.
• Work under close supervision of the host teams.
• Experience in editorial decision-making and audience engagement.
• Opportunity to explore NPR’s podcast and digital strategy.
• Internship duration is from October 6th, 2025 to April 17th, 2026.

Requirements

• Must be a current student or recent graduate.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Knowledge of data analysis methodologies.
• Demonstrated editorial or news judgment.
• Experience creating or curating content.
• Audio or video production experience is a plus.
• Being a podcast enthusiast is a requisite.
