Overview

The Democratic Governors Association (DGA) is seeking Digital interns for the Summer 2025 term to support their Digital Department and gain practical political experience.

In Short

• Interns will assist in research and digital content creation.
• Support tracking of candidates running for Governor.
• Help maintain important tracking and analytic documents.
• Draft social media content for publication.
• Compile newsletters and analytic reports.
• Maintain the DGA’s social calendar with key events.
• Stay updated on social media trends.
• Participate in weekly Digital team meetings.
• Internships are remote with limited office access in DC.
• Stipend of $5,000 provided.

Requirements

• Excellent punctuality and attendance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to cooperate with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
• Knowledge of social media applications like Instagram and Twitter.
• Commitment to the principles of the Democratic Party.
• Interest in current events and political campaigns.
• Availability for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
