The Democratic Governors Association (DGA) is an independent, non-profit campaign committee dedicated to electing and supporting Democratic governors across the United States. The organization collaborates closely with state and Washington, D.C. offices of Democratic governors, as well as various national Democratic and progressive organizations. The DGA provides opportunities for students to gain practical political experience through internships in its Communications Department, where they engage in research, media monitoring, and content creation to support the communication efforts of Democratic governors and candidates. The DGA is committed to promoting the agendas of Democratic leaders and positioning them for success in their campaigns.
