Overview

As a Collections Management intern at Walt Disney Imagineering, you will assist in managing a diverse collection of museum objects while gaining hands-on experience in the field.

In Short

• Work under a Curator on various projects.
• Document, label, and pack objects for storage and shipping.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of exhibits.
• Handle fragile collection objects properly.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher in Museum Studies or related field.
• Basic object/art handling skills.
• Knowledge of packing and conservation practices.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and climb ladders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess unrestricted work authorization.
• Reliable transportation and housing in Orlando area.
