Overview

As a Legal AI Research Associate, you play a central role in bridging legal expertise and modern AI. You translate legal requirements into AI-compatible structures, develop proof-of-concepts, and support the validation of our legal AI solutions. Your work directly impacts product development, internal legal processes, and the practical usability of our Legal AI technology, enhancing efficiency and quality.

In Short

• Support legal engineering by translating legal requirements into AI-compatible prompts and structures.
• Conduct legal research, analyze company use cases, and develop corresponding proof-of-concepts.
• Develop legal benchmarks and build test sets to validate our AI solutions.
• Address internal legal issues in close collaboration with the General Counsel.
• Work closely with a specialized legal team in an iterative and collaborative environment.
• Gain deep insights into the intersection of law, technology, and practical application.
• Engage in real legal questions early in the process.
• Demonstrate high personal initiative and structured work style.
• Fluency in German (C2) and very good English skills (C1 or higher) required.
• Ideal candidates have an initial legal examination with above-average results.

Requirements
