Whatnot is the largest livestream shopping platform in North America and Europe, blending community, shopping, and entertainment. We are seeking a Research Associate to drive strategic decisions through rigorous research and data analysis.

In Short

• Support design and execution of research initiatives.
• Collect and analyze data to interpret trends.
• Produce reports and visualizations to inform product and strategy.
• Partner with cross-functional teams for impactful insights.
• Conduct literature reviews and secondary research.
• Assist with research plans and measurement frameworks.
• Ensure ethical research processes and data integrity.
• Own research projects end-to-end.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• Competencies in quantitative and qualitative research.
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL, and visualization tools.
• Comfort using generative AI for research operations.
• Strong communication skills to synthesize data insights.
• Detail-oriented with organizational skills.
• Familiarity with e-commerce or marketplace dynamics is a plus.
