Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Data Engineer (f/d/m), you will play a key role in our Data Expansion Squad, responsible for integrating and operationalizing legal data from multiple jurisdictions, transforming heterogeneous source data into a unified, high-quality foundation that powers search, retrieval, and AI-supported workflows across our products.

In Short

• Design, build, and optimize end-to-end ETL pipelines for legal data.
• Work with XML-based legal data feeds to parse, validate, normalize, and transform data.
• Develop and maintain data models and storage schemas for consistency and accuracy.
• Coordinate data handover and integration from multiple data providers.
• Implement metadata enrichment strategies for improved searchability.
• Build and maintain high-performance search and retrieval infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product, AI, and legal domain experts.
• Own the data integration of one jurisdiction end-to-end.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Strong Python skills with experience in designing robust data pipelines.
• Experience in building and maintaining ET and RAG pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.
• Expertise in working with graph databases and NLP models is a bonus.
• English proficiency at the C2 level.
