Overview

The Triage RN, Access provides clinically expert virtual triage service, serving as a liaison between patients and their physicians.

In Short

• Part-time position in a Clinical Contact Center.
• Requires residency in IL, IN, IA, WI, OH, MO, MI, or FL.
• Focus on patient advocacy and communication.
• Triage incoming calls and electronic messages.
• Document communications in the electronic medical record.
• Schedule patient visits with providers.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement activities.
• Assist in training new staff members.
• Utilize critical thinking to develop patient care plans.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• 2 years of ambulatory care experience.
• Registered Nurse License in Illinois.
• Current AHA BLS Provider certification.
• Preferred: BSN and specialty certification.
