Technical Writer (m/f/d) - Remote

Overview

The noris network AG provides companies with solutions in IT outsourcing, cloud services, network & security, and data centers. We are looking for a dedicated, technically savvy individual to enhance our technical documentation and establish a central editorial team, working from various locations in Germany or remotely.

In Short

• Build and design a new central editorial environment.
• Conceptualize and implement a state-of-the-art content database.
• Create and maintain technical documentation in collaboration with departments.
• Develop style guides, templates, and processes for content governance.
• Establish automated publication pipelines using tools like GitLab.
• Ensure consistent and compliant documentation.
• Train and support internal stakeholders on the editorial system.
• Continuously optimize documentation processes and contribute to AI-driven editorial work.

Requirements

• Degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, Communication, Engineering or similar.
• Several years of experience as a technical writer, ideally in an IT environment.
• Strong knowledge of XML, Markdown, GitLab, and document workflows.
• High IT affinity and technical understanding, especially with system architectures.
• Experience with AI-driven content workflows.
• Structured and self-reliant working style with a hands-on mentality.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to cooperate.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
