Senior IT Security Analyst - Remote

Overview

The noris network AG offers companies solutions in IT outsourcing, cloud services, network & security, and data center. We are looking for a Senior IT Security Analyst to join our strong team across various locations, including remote work within Germany.

In Short

• Formulating hypotheses about potential threats
• Manual and semi-automated analysis of IT systems using SIEM
• Proactively searching networks to detect and isolate advanced threats
• Improving automated detection systems
• Investigating potential risks and monitoring suspicious behavior
• Creating IT security evaluations for security-relevant events
• Supporting IT projects, especially in building security solutions
• Planning and executing standard changes according to ITIL
• Participating in on-call services

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT-focused education
• Excellent knowledge in Security (IPS/IDS, Threat Intelligence, Threat Analysis, Vulnerabilities)
• Strong expertise in IT security and network environments, including hardening
• Experience in pentesting and vulnerability management
• Good knowledge of Linux and/or Windows
• Familiarity with Elastic and Service Now is a plus
• Structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented work style
• Willingness to learn and adapt to technological developments
• Good command of German and English, both written and spoken
