System Administrator | Mid-Senior - Remote

Overview

The Infrastructure department is responsible for influencing and tracking change, providing frontline support, and delivering software-defined solutions. As a System Administrator, you will help support and improve a global server environment with a network of ~8,000 on-premises servers worldwide.

In Short

• Maintain and support hundreds of Linux-based servers operating globally.
• Develop and maintain end to end automation regarding the service configuration.
• Utilize monitoring tools to track system performance and health.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues as they arise.
• Contribute to developing smart routing, load balancing, and security configurations.
• Design and improve system monitoring and reporting tools.
• Work with team members to maintain system reliability and implement improvements.
• Participate in team discussions; new ideas and personal initiatives are encouraged.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Linux systems.
• Experience with basic automation tools like Ansible.
• Ability to write simple scripts in Python or Bash for task automation.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with firewall management.
• Familiarity with web servers like NGINX, HAProxy.
• Experience with Docker is a plus.
