Senior System Administrator - Remote

Overview

The Senior System Administrator is responsible for managing the company’s internal IT infrastructure, ensuring stability and operational efficiency through best practices and effective problem management.

In Short

• Manage internal server, storage, network, and O365 administration.
• Ensure systems are always up and running with minimal downtime.
• Implement and monitor configuration management and reporting functions.
• Configure and manage network solutions including firewalls and VPNs.
• Provide after-hours support for infrastructure-related emergencies.
• Perform remote and onsite installations and troubleshooting.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and configuration documentation.
• Stay updated with technological developments and recommend improvements.
• Assist in training end-users on software systems and hardware.
• Participate in data center and office migration activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• 4-5 years of experience in IT System Administration.
• Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent desired.
• Good knowledge of Windows Server and desktop operating systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 services.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and advanced troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery tools.
• Understanding of VoIP and telephony solutions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong customer service skills and technical comprehension.
