Technical Product Owner - Remote

Overview

As a Product Owner at NMI, you will play a critical role in executing our product strategy and roadmap with our shared services. Initial focus being across two essential areas: billing systems and data infrastructure. You will manage the day-to-day execution of initiatives, facilitate agile ceremonies, and act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure value delivery at scale.

In Short

• Prioritize the product backlog and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Develop and present epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate product releases.
• Collaborate with other Product Owners on cross-team dependencies.
• Define and validate Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).
• Provide product training and enablement for internal teams.
• Maintain transparency by communicating progress to stakeholders.
• Gather and translate stakeholder requirements.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager role.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms.
• Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL.
• Skilled in Agile development frameworks and tools.
• Experience managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating software release cycles and QA processes.
