Software Engineer (Backend) – L3 - Remote

Overview

As a Software Engineer, you will actively work alongside other engineers on highly technical projects, delivering high-quality contributions to the codebase.

In Short

• Work on backend applications using Java and GraphQL.
• Design APIs to consume and produce data.
• Build a real-time data pipeline using Kafka, Aerospike, and Elasticsearch.
• Monitor platform health using DataDog and Grafana.
• Conduct high-quality reviews of code and technical designs.
• Convert product requirements into technical solutions using ecommerce knowledge.
• Understand database management principles (SQL).
• Participate in on-call and production support rotations.

Requirements

• Experience with Java and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Aerospike, and Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge of DataDog and Grafana for monitoring.
• Strong understanding of SQL and database management.
• Ability to convert product requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience in software engineering principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other engineers.
