Overview

This position involves overseeing credit balances and refunds, ensuring accuracy and compliance while communicating with clients and departments.

In Short

  • Acts as primary oversight for all credits balances and refunds
  • Responsible for reviewing and approving all refunds before submission
  • Resolves escalated issues related to credit balances or refunds
  • Tracks all refunds and reports on them accurately
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with departments and clients
  • Analyzes payer EOB’s and clients managed care contracts

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Basic user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Impeccable attendance record and excellent work ethic
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality policies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Health Care industry
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve
