Credentialing Representative - Remote

Overview

The Credentialing Specialist supports the provider credentialing and payer enrollment functions for multiple healthcare clients within the RCM organization, ensuring all providers are accurately credentialed and enrolled with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial health plans.

• Manage end-to-end credentialing and recredentialing for providers.
• Prepare, submit, and track payer enrollment applications.
• Verify provider credentials and maintain organized records.
• Communicate with providers, payers, and internal teams.
• Monitor expirations and initiate renewals.
• Collaborate with contracting and billing teams.
• Stay current with payer policies and credentialing standards.
• Generate credentialing status reports.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of credentialing or provider enrollment experience.
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid enrollment processes.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and credentialing software.
• CPCS or CPMSM certification preferred.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
