Senior Automation Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the enterprise Product Functionality Testing and in-depth understanding of QA best practices, techniques, and tools.

In Short

• Design, develop and maintain automation scripts using languages like Python and Shell.
• Automate deployment testing and improve frameworks.
• Debug and identify software issues post deployment.
• Review defects logged by the team and assign them accordingly.
• Estimate and commit task level effort and deliver activities on time.
• Work with AWS command-line interfaces and CI/CD systems.
• Thrive in a collaborative environment and communicate technical problems effectively.
• Strong knowledge on RDS Database like Oracle, Postgres Aurora, and MySQL.
• Experience in API testing and CI/CD automation.
• Knowledge on VOIP/SIP is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Solid understanding of development lifecycles and QA processes.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with AWS Cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Shell scripting.
• Experience with version control systems like Github.
• Strong Linux knowledge.
• 2+ years of experience in API testing.
• CI/CD automation ability.
