QA Engineer - Automation Testing - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA professional with a strong background in testing distributed systems. The ideal candidate can work independently, has strong experience with test automation, and is self-driven to ensure high-quality software delivery.

In Short

• Design and execute test plans for functional, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript preferred).
• Perform manual testing where necessary to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects effectively.
• Participate in code reviews and advocate for QA best practices.
• Ensure efficient use of tools and processes, including version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
• Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve quality and reliability.
• Participate and contribute to team Scrum ceremonies.
• Create and maintain the required documentation.
• Is a team player.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software testing, with 3+ years in automated testing of Angular applications.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright automation testing.
• Strong understanding of test automation design patterns, tools, and writing tests in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• ISTQB certification (or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience in creating clear test plans, scripts, and reporting results.
• Practical experience in manual and automated testing across UI, business logic, data access, and APIs.
• Experience in API/Web Services Testing using tools like Postman.
• Familiarity with cross-browser and non-functional testing strategies.
• Proficient in SQL and Jenkins for CI/CD.
