Nexxen is looking for a Senior Big Data Developer to join their Data Engineering team in Bellevue, WA. This role involves working on the Data Management platform responsible for processing, storing, and serving data for core systems.

In Short

Implement and maintain high scale Big-Data solutions.
End-to-end feature development and ownership.
Build and design the next generation data infrastructure.
Research innovative technologies for scalable data applications.
Collaborate with various stakeholders including Product and Engineering.

Requirements

7+ years of overall engineering experience with 4+ years in data engineering.
4+ years of experience in Java.
Experience with Python and Scala is an advantage.
Familiarity with ETL, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka, and streaming systems.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Strong system architecture knowledge.
Working knowledge of Linux, Docker, and container orchestration.
Proficient with Git version control system.
BS (or higher) in Computer Science or related degree.
Excellent communication skills and a team player.
